CLOGGING IS A FOLK DANCE, meaning it is passed from generation to generation by personal instruction. CLOGGING originated with our early American settlers in the Appalachians as a blend of many dance forms, including movements from Irish Jigs, Indian, African and European influences.

The MON VALLEY CLOGGERS, founded in 1992 under the direction of Pat and Cliff Loehr, provides entertainment for county fairs, many community festivals, area clubs, schools, care homes, etc. The MON VALLEY CLOGGERS have made over 400 appearances in southwestern so the dancers entertaining you are no strangers to the stage.

Our group has 10 experienced dancers from three southwestern Pennsylvania counties. Typically 6 or more dancers perform each show. We dance to a variety of recorded music selected to match your theme and include variety of styles ( i.e. figures, circles, lines and periodic novelties).

We are ASCAP & BMI Licensed and Members of C.L.O.G.
